** VENUE AND DATE CHANGE***
Several companies including Di Cal, Carpe Diem, Vanbango and others have applied to take over passenger routes following the wind up of STC. Individuals concerned with safety and the take-over of STC routes have initiated Notices of Opposition with the Highway Traffic Board – the government body that oversees and regulates safety and highway passenger travel in Saskatchewan.
The hearings to deal with objections are set for:
June 6th: 9 AM (Sask Ltd.) & 1 PM (Di Cal)
June 8th: 9 AM (Rider Express)
both in Regina in the *Burlington Room at the Travelodge - 4177 Albert Street, Regina SK*
June 14th (9 am and 1 pm)
at Sturdy Stone Centre in Saskatoon.
We can't be sure of the exact duration but each hearing will start at 9am or 1pm and last 2-3 hours.
Please plan to attend these public hearings and show the HTB we are concerned about safety, impacts on folks with disabilities, the wind-down of STC, and more!
